Two weeks following the suspicious death of Corey Jones, the South Florida musician that was shot by an undercover police officer after his car broke down on the highway, there continues to be many questions left unanswered. Photographer captured the crowd of several hundred at last week’s rally outside the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department. Ike’s photo essay paints an all too familiar picture, of which the media and public have become numb.
This event also demonstrates a situation against the argument that says we need guns for protection, and adds to the debate surrounding the concealed carry law at the University of Texas that goes into effect August 2016, which will allow licensed gun owners to carry concealed weapons into classrooms and university buildings.
